INTAKE COORDINATOR – FULL TIME - The Intake Coordinator is responsible for acquiring the necessary patient intake information from our referral sources for home medical equipment and respiratory therapy services, which includes evaluating, accepting, and executing the initial patient intake process to ensure that patient verification, assessment, teaching, and ongoing scheduling of services occur in a timely manner. The Intake Coordinator communicates with other personnel, outside providers, physicians, and other agencies to ensure the continuity of patient care, and ensures that all patient-related documentation, including clinical and departmental reports, are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner, according to internal policy and external regulatory requirements, including confirming delivery tickets, and scanning. Minimum qualifications: must have high school diploma or equivalent, with three or more years of progressively responsible office experience; demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills, with an eye for detail; ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and exhibit effective problem-solving skills; and must be dependable and have excellent computer skills.

PHARMACY BILLER - FULL TIME – The Pharmacy Billing Specialist is part of a team of billers responsible for maintaining accounts receivables for our long-term care (Senior Care) pharmacy and our three retail pharmacies. The Pharmacy Billing Specialist assists the pharmacy by reconciling insurance claims accurately and quickly, ensuring even the difficult claims are adjudicated in a timely manner, allowing the pharmacy staff to focus on their core duties. Minimum qualifications for this position include: High School graduate or equivalent; three years of experience and/or training in medical billing; strong computer, time management, and organizational skills; professional communication skills, both written and verbal; and knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical insurance providers.
DELIVERY DRIVER – PART TIME EVENINGS (SENIOR CARE DIVISION) – We are looking for a part-time Driver to make evening deliveries to the Assisted Living facilities that we contract with through Senior Care. The weekday delivery Driver reports to work at 4:30 pm to load the company vehicle and begins the route by 5:00 pm. Minimum qualifications: must hold a valid Maine Driver’s License with a clean driving record; must be dependable and drive safely; and must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. The driver must be able to drive in the late evening hours and in all weather conditions.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (A/R) SPECIALIST – FULL TIME –The A/R Specialist is responsible for receiving, following-up, and reconciling all insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner. The A/R Specialist also processes monthly statements, coordinates the collections process, and takes calls from clients who have a question regarding their bill. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; must have three or more years of progressively responsible office experience; demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills, with an eye for detail; ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and exhibit effective problem-solving skills; and must be dependable and have excellent computer skills. Previous medical billing experience is preferred.
BILLING CLERICAL DOCUMENT CLERK – FULL TIME - The billing document clerk classifies, scans, stores, retrieves, and updates generated information to support billing operations. Minimum qualifications include: High School graduate or equivalent; one to two years of general office and filing experience; (medical record filing preferred); and proficient computer skills. Candidate must also be dependable and organized, with excellent attention to detail.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – FULL TIME - The Customer Service Rep. assists customers with the rental/purchase of home medical equipment and supplies, providing product information, verifying payment sources and coverage criteria, and completing orders. Position requires strong communication and customer service skills, excellent use of a computer, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve. Minimum qualifications include: High School graduate or equivalent; one year of experience in customer relations; strong oral and written communication skills; capable of sound and mature judgment; experienced and competent using a computer; knowledge of special payer guidelines, i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, etc.; knowledge of the medical field, with experience in home health care desirable; and experience in processing health insurance claims is strongly preferred.
